The Hairfarmers are the "go to" band for every occasion...corporate events, weddings, festivals, private parties, club and bar gigs...they play over 250 shows a year! Whether it's a intimate party for 50, a company event for 500, or an outdoor music festival in front of 30,000 people, The Hairfarmers have you covered with a repertoire of over 2500 songs and an uncanny ability to get any audience out of their seats and up on the dance floor!
During the 2010 Winter Olympics The Hairfarmers played an unprecedented
44 shows in 28 days. Some highlights include headlining the Whistler opening
day ceremonies, Canadian National Team parties, USA House in Vancouver,
the YPO party, playing for Royalty!, the closing day event at Whistler Canada
House, and several IPC events including the wrap-up party (see testimonials).
...a successful month indeed!
The Hairfarmers have been featured in numerous international magazine articles and television segments, been listed in several top ten "things to do in Whistler" lists, and have shared the stage with Canadian icons such as Tom Cochrane, 54-40 and Barney Bentall as well as opening for the "Original Wailers" of Bob Marley fame.
